Sections, blocks and settings

Every page is built from sections. A section can have blocks. Sections and blocks have settings that you use to set colors, text and images.

Section

A section is one piece of a page, such as a slider, a specifications table or the reviews section.

Block

A block is one row inside a section, for example one slide or one review. Each section has a maximum number of blocks. The theme itself sets this maximum.

Setting

A setting is an option you use to set text, a color or an image. Each setting has a type (for example text or color), a Persian label and a default value.

A small example

For a slider, the theme has a text setting for the title, an image setting for the picture and one block for each slide. You fill in the title and picture of each slide in the panel.

What the theme must draw itself

• Product page: a gallery with several images, a specifications table, and a reviews section with a review form.

• Category page: product filters and sorting.

Editing a theme in the panel

The theme editor is active. On the theme card, in the shop appearance page, click "Edit". If code editing is turned on, "Edit code" is also shown.
