Slides and pop-up windows

Before you start

You have two separate pages:

• The "Home page slider" («اسلایدر صفحه‌ی اصلی») page: you build the slider images of the home page here. Each image is a "slide" («اسلاید»).

• The "Pop-ups" («پاپ‌آپ‌ها») page: you build the pop-up messages of the shop here. In this guide we call them pop-up windows; in the panel they are called "pop-up".

Both pages have a list, and creating or editing each item is done on its own page.

Make a slide

1. Open the "Home page slider" page and click "Add slide" («افزودن اسلاید»). If you do not have a slide yet, you see the message "No slide has been made yet" («هنوز اسلایدی ساخته نشده است») and the same button.

2. In "Slide image" («تصویر اسلاید») choose the image. Under it is written: "The only required part of a slide. Without an image there is nothing to show." («تنها بخش اجباری اسلاید. بدون تصویر چیزی برای نمایش وجود ندارد.») The image is uploaded when you save.

3. If you want, fill in these:

• "Title" («عنوان»)

• "Text" («متن»)

• "Link address" («نشانی پیوند») and "Link text" («متن پیوند»): if the slide links somewhere.

• "Expiry" («انقضا»): the date and time the slide ends.

4. If the slide should be active, turn on "Active" («فعال»).

5. Click "Save" («ذخیره»). You see the message "Slide saved" («اسلاید ذخیره شد») and you go back to the list. To go back without saving, click "Cancel" («انصراف»).

In the list, a slide without a title is shown with the name "Untitled" («بدون عنوان»). To edit a slide, click its title.

Make a pop-up window

1. Open the "Pop-ups" page and click "Add pop-up" («افزودن پاپ‌آپ»). If you do not have a pop-up yet, you see the message "No pop-up has been made yet" («هنوز پاپ‌آپی ساخته نشده است») and the same button.

2. In the "Content" («محتوا») section:

• Write the "Title".

• In "Content" write the text of the message. Under it is written: "The content is cleaned on the server when you save; scripts and events are removed." («محتوا هنگام ذخیره روی سرور پاک‌سازی می‌شود؛ اسکریپت و رویداد حذف می‌شوند.»)

• "Image" («تصویر») is optional. If you add one, it is shown at the top of the card, full width.

3. The "Button" («دکمه») section is optional; the text and the address together make the main button of the card:

• In "Button text" («متن دکمه») write the words on the button.

• In "Button address" («نشانی دکمه») write the address; for example /products. The address is either a path in the shop that starts with /, or an https address.

4. In the "Display" («نمایش») section:

• "Close automatically (seconds)" («بسته‌شدن خودکار (ثانیه)»): the message closes by itself after this many seconds. If it is left empty, it does not close by itself.

• "Expiry": the date and time the message ends.

• "Only once for each visitor" («فقط یک‌بار برای هر بازدیدکننده»): turn it on so that each visitor sees the message only once.

• "Only on the home page" («فقط در صفحه‌ی اصلی»): turn it on so that the message is shown only on the home page.

• "Active": keep it on so that the message is shown.

• "CSS class" («کلاس CSS») is for someone who adjusts the look of the card with their own code. If you do not know what it is, leave it empty.

5. In the "Live preview" («پیش‌نمایش زنده») section you see the message card at once. Under the preview it is written that the final look in the shop may differ a little.

6. Click "Save". You see the message "Pop-up saved" («پاپ‌آپ ذخیره شد») and you go back to the list. To go back without saving, click "Cancel".

Change the order, turn off and delete

• Order: in both lists, each row has two arrow buttons that move it one place up or down. You can drag a row and drop it on another row. After a move, you see the message "Order saved" («ترتیب ذخیره شد»).

• If you sorted the rows by a column or a filter is on, moving is not possible and you see the message "Moving rows is possible only in manual order and without a filter." («جابه‌جایی ردیف‌ها فقط در ترتیب دستی و بدون فیلتر ممکن است.»). "Back to manual order" («بازگشت به ترتیب دستی») removes the sorting and "Clear filters" («پاک کردن فیلترها») removes the filters.

• Finding: use "Search" («جست‌وجو») and the "Status" («وضعیت») filter. "Status" has three choices: "All" («همه»), "Active" and "Inactive" («غیرفعال»). In the pop-up list, the column "Only on the home page" shows with "Yes" («بله») or "No" («خیر») whether a message is only on the home page.

• Turning off: open the item, turn "Active" off and click "Save". Its status in the list becomes "Inactive".

• Deleting: click "Delete" («حذف») in the list. A window with the title "Delete" and the name of the item opens and says: "This cannot be undone." («این عملیات قابل بازگشت نیست.») If you are sure, confirm. You see the message "Slide deleted" («اسلاید حذف شد») or "Pop-up deleted" («پاپ‌آپ حذف شد»).

If something did not work

• If you see the message "Some fields need correcting." («برخی فیلدها نیاز به اصلاح دارند.»), the explanation of each problem is written under its own field.

• If uploading the slide image fails, the slide is not saved; you see the error message. Choose the image again and click "Save".

• If you see the message "Saving the slide failed" («ذخیره‌ی اسلاید ناموفق بود») or "Saving the pop-up failed" («ذخیره‌ی پاپ‌آپ ناموفق بود»), click "Save" again.

• If you see the message "Loading the list of slides failed" («دریافت فهرست اسلایدها ناموفق بود») or "Loading the list of pop-ups failed" («دریافت فهرست پاپ‌آپ‌ها ناموفق بود»), open the page again. On the page of the slide or pop-up itself there is also a "Try again" («تلاش دوباره») button.

• If you see the page "This slide was not found" («این اسلاید پیدا نشد») or "This pop-up was not found" («این پاپ‌آپ پیدا نشد»), the item may have been deleted. Click "Back to the slider" («بازگشت به اسلایدر») or "Back to pop-ups" («بازگشت به پاپ‌آپ‌ها»).

• If you see the message "Saving the new order failed" («ثبت ترتیب تازه ناموفق بود»), the row goes back to its previous place; try again.

• If you see the message "No slide was found with these filters" («با این فیلترها اسلایدی پیدا نشد») or "No pop-up was found with these filters" («با این فیلترها پاپ‌آپی پیدا نشد»), click "Clear filters".

• If you see the message "Deleting the slide failed" («حذف اسلاید ناموفق بود») or "Deleting the pop-up failed" («حذف پاپ‌آپ ناموفق بود»), try deleting again.

• If you see another message, the text of that message is your guide; if the problem stays, message support.
