Connect your own domain
Connect a domain you have bought to the shop so customers open the site with your own address.

Before you start
You must already have bought the domain from a registrar. In this section we connect the domain you bought to the shop.
The default site address always stays active, and it does not stop working when you connect your own domain.
Adding a domain
1. Open the "Domain" («دامنه») section.
2. In the "Connect your own domain" («اتصال دامنهی اختصاصی») card, in the "Domain" field, write only the domain itself, for example shirini.ir. If you paste the full address, we will tidy it up.
3. Click "Connect domain" («اتصال دامنه»).
4. The domain appears in the list with the label "Waiting for confirmation" («در انتظار تأیید»).
Set up DNS at your domain registrar
After adding it, connect the domain to the site in one of two ways:
• Option 1: point the domain's NS records to Awix. Changing NS sometimes takes a few hours.
• Option 2: create the DNS records that you see under "DNS records" («رکوردهای DNS») on this page in your domain's DNS panel. Both records are needed; until both are created, the site will not come up on this domain.
You create these records in your domain's DNS panel: one connects the domain to our server, and one proves that the domain is yours.
Confirm the domain
While this page is open, we check the domain too. You can also click "Check now" («الان بررسی کن») to check immediately.
As soon as it is confirmed, you see the message "Domain confirmed and it became the main address of the site" («دامنه تأیید شد و نشانی اصلی سایت شد»). The domain becomes the main address and an SSL certificate is issued. If you have several domains, use the "Main domain" («دامنهی اصلی») button to choose which address customers see.
If it is not confirmed
• If you see "The domain's NS is not on Awix yet" («هنوز NS دامنه روی آویکس نیست»), check the NS change at your registrar. It sometimes takes a few hours.
• If you see "Record not found yet" («رکورد هنوز پیدا نشد»), DNS propagation usually takes a few minutes. While this page is open, it is checked again.
• If the domain is connected but the SSL certificate was not issued, check the DNS records. If a CDN or proxy service manages your DNS, the records must be "DNS only" («فقط DNS»). The site tries again on the first visit.
• To cancel the connection, click "Cancel connection" («انصراف از اتصال»). To detach a connected domain, click "Disconnect" («قطع اتصال»).
